
Dr. J. Eric Raynor opened his practice in Hope Mills in November 1993. He received a B.S. from Campbell University 1989. He received a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993. He resides in Benson with his wife Susan and two children. They attend Benson United Methodist Church. When he’s not at work, Eric enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team.

Dr. Alan Price, a North Carolina native, graduated summa cum laude from Campbell University in 1997 with a B.S. degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He entered optometry school in the fall of 1997 at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where he graduated in 2001 with the Doctor of Optometry degree. He completed externships at Birmingham Veterans Administration hospital and the prestigious Duke University Eye Center. Dr. Price completed a residency at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in 2002. He studied glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, eye injuries and infections, pediatric optometry, and specialty contact lenses during his residency. In addition, he served as an on-call doctor at the W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital's emergency department. In 2002 Dr. Price returned to North Carolina and has practiced optometry in various locations, including his own private practice in Wake County, NC.
Dr. Price was happy to join Drs. Raynor and Naylor at Professional Eye Care of Hope Mills and Sears Eye Care of Fayetteville. Active in the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Price earned Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry in 2002. He has remained an active member of the Academy of Optometry since 2002.
